The largest park in Strovolos, known as Ayios Dimitrios Park, can be found situated between Makarios Hospital and the English School. It offers entrances accessible from Acropoleos Avenue, Koritsas Street, and D. Liperti Street. Additionally, parking facilities are available at the latter two entrances.

Between 2003 and 2004, various enhancements were made to the park, including the construction of a kiosk, a playground, an extension to the amphitheatre, and a new walking path. In 2007, the park’s lighting project was successfully finished, and it’s worth noting that the playground meets European safety standards.

The overall cost for the park’s construction and outfitting amounted to 1.2 million Cyprus pounds, with the government contributing 4/5 of the total expenses.
