Who we are:
Founded in 2005, Aigaia School of Art and Design is a private institution in Nicosia, Cyprus, offering specialised higher education in Art and Design. We provide comprehensive programs ranging from undergraduate studies to portfolio preparation for top international universities.
Aigaia also offers year-round art and drama lessons, organises professional exams, and hosts Easter and Summer programs for all ages.

At Aigaia, we are proud to host the Aigaia Institute of Fine, Applied, and Performing Arts, offering specialised programs for portfolio preparation, aimed at securing admission to prestigious fine and applied arts schools, as well as art universities abroad. We also offer a variety of creative programs designed for children, teenagers, and adults across all disciplines and specializations in visual arts and theater.
Our Institute provides comprehensive courses and exams in art and theater for all ages and skill levels. We deliver a well-rounded, multi-tiered, and continuous education, ensuring that students of all ages receive the guidance and support they need. Our School
Kids
The children’s art school aims to introduce young learners to the exciting world of visual arts, helping them explore and develop their creativity. Through a variety of activities, children are encouraged to express themselves and experiment with different mediums.
Teenagers
Creative programs for teens include introductions to various materials, techniques and ways to create art. Teaching happens through the specialised pathways of design, fine arts and digital art creating media and aims at the gradual development of students in examination programs, preparation of portfolios and studies or simply the cultivation and education in the visual arts and culture etc.
Adults
Aigaia offers creative education in the visual arts and theatre, to adults who intend to explore their artistic potential and express themselves by creating artworks with various and different materials and techniques. The countless possibilities offered by the arts education, enable not only the creation of art but also the emotional discharge and relaxation.
Theatre
In the theater workshop for children, teenagers, and adults, specialized acting lessons are offered, along with preparation for exams and for admission to drama schools and universities. The program provides participants with the opportunity to develop clarity in speech, positive body language, group consciousness, self-confidence, and physical presence by individually and collectively exploring different uses of speech.
Workshops & Courses
Aigaia introduces a variety of one-off workshops and short courses across different art and design fields. Held in our specialised studios, each session provides a hands-on, creative space to explore new techniques and develop your skills.
Summer School
The program is built around a creative, educational and interactive experience offered over six weeks within the inspiring environment of a higher education institution specialising in the visual arts, design and theatre. It invites children, teenagers and adults to develop their creativity, confidence and artistic skills through engaging workshops and hands-on activities. Children explore through creative learning and artistic discovery, teenagers pursue personalised projects with expert guidance and adults enjoy opportunities for creative growth, experimentation, and self-expression in a supportive setting.
Studies in Fine and Applied Arts
At Aigaia, we offer study programs that meet the diverse aspirations and artistic pursuits of each student. For professional training and careers in the visual arts, our programs offer essential knowledge, technical expertise, and creative development.
